When the Kobe 9 Elite debuted last December, its ultra high-top look was a clear departure from previous Kobe models, all of which since the Kobe 4 had been low tops. The Kobe 9 received rave reviews for its performance on the court, but many sneakerheads have been anxiously awaiting its low-top version to arrive. That wait is almost over.

Nike has unveiled the Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM, featuring Lunarlon, Flywire and Flyknit materials working together to keep the shoe as light as possible. The shoe also features a web outsole, which is imprinted with the pressure map of a foot. Other design elements include embossed snake scales and a reflective Swoosh logo.
The Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM is releasing exclusively in Milan, but look for Nike Basketball to drop pairs stateside in the near future. Click through the slides for more photos.
