Lakers’ Nick Young Explains Why the Warriors Haven’t Performed Well in the Western Conference Finals
The Golden State Warriors are down 3 games to 1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. Since the Warriors dominated the regular season with a record 73 victories, no one expected them to encounter serious opposition in the playoffs. But they have, and it’s left everyone in the NBA world wondering why.
Well, Lakers’ swingman Nick Young thinks he has the answer.

After Game 4 ended in another Warriors loss, Swaggy P took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying first that all the bandwagon fans are sad right now.

Then giving his reason why the Warriors are playing poorly.

If you are unaware, Swaggy was referring a March 6 regular season game against the Lakers in the Staples Center, which L.A. won 112-95. But that couldn’t possibly still be affecting the Warriors, right? Right. After that loss, the Warriors went 18-3 to finish the season, and they were 8-2 in the Playoffs until they got struck by Lightning, er, Thunder.
So, no, we don’t think Young is correct. Maybe he and everyone else should start giving props to the Thunder.
