On Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. EST, STACK will host a live video chat on the Gatorade Performance Center with Lance Walker, director of performance for Michael Johnson Performance Center.
Walker is an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist and a registered physical therapist. Under his tutelage, numerous elite athletes—including Ndamukong Suh, Darren McFadden, Adrian Peterson and Eli Manning—have trained at MJPC. He previously served as director of performance training at Integrated Athletic Development, where he was responsible for the training and/or physical rehab of more than 50 professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB, PGA and CFL. He also served three seasons as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
Via a live video stream, Walker will answer questions on strength and conditioning, mental and sports skills, preparation and nutrition. Mark your calendars to ensure that you take advantage of this opportunity to learn from a strength coach with an extensive background, including sports medicine, at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.
