LeBron and D-Wade’s Sons Are Reportedly Transferring to the Same High School
LeBron James Jr., eldest son of four-time NBA MVP LeBron James, is a 14-year-old basketball prodigy who already holds an offer from the University of Kentucky. Zaire Wade, eldest son of 13-time NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade, is a rising senior point guard who can get buckets in bunches.
Per a report from Tarek Fattal of the L.A. Daily News, the two will be high school teammates next season:
Bronny James to Sierra Canyon has been a “done deal” for at least six weeks. The other “done deal” is that Zaire Wade, Dywane Wade’s son, who will be a senior next year will join Bronny this coming season at Sierra Canyon.

James Jr. spent his 8th grade year at Crossroads School (Santa Monica, California) while Wade spent his 11th grade year at American Heritage School (Plantation, Florida). Now, the two are expected to join forces for Sierra Canyon School, a private school in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Chatsworth.
While fans and media are surely eager to see the next generation of the James-Wade connection share the court, the players will each have to earn their run, as Sierra Canyon finished last season as the top-ranked high school team in the nation per MaxPreps Computer Rankings. Alumni of the school’s basketball program include Marvin Bagley III, Scotty Pippen Jr., and Cassius Stanley, a top shooting guard prospect in the 2019 class who’ll suit up for Duke next season. To get a taste of what “Bronny” and Zaire will bring to the table, check out some recent highlights:
