Unless you’ve been buried beneath the covers on your bed, refusing to leave your house because the temperature has dipped below 60 degrees, you’re aware that the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs are facing off in the 2016 World Series. You may also be aware that two fairly prominent native sons happen to play for their respective hometown basketball teams in both cities.

LeBron James, the Akron native playing for the Cavaliers, and Dwyane Wade, the Chicago native lacing ’em up for the Bulls (for the first time this season), also happen to be best friends. And as often occurs when two good buddies’ favorite teams compete, a wager has been placed. And this one is pretty hilarious. We’ll let Wade explain the terms.

No matter who wins, we cannot wait to see Wade or James strolling into the arena rocking a full baseball uniform while people oblivious to baseball try to figure out what in the world is going on. May the best team win.
