LeBron James’s No-Look Nutmeg Assist Might Be the Most Impressive Pass You’ve Ever Seen
One of the skills that makes Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James one of the best players in NBA history is his passing ability. Though he’s listed as a forward, the 6-foot-8, 13-time All-Star sees the court like a point guard. LeBron has made some incredible passes in his career, but during Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he made what might be his best pass ever.

In the middle of the second quarter, as James was bringing the ball up the court, Kyle Korver was wide open on the wing. But instead of making the easy pass to one of the best outside shooters in the league, the King decided to show off his passing prowess. As he focused on Korver behind the 3-point line, LeBron threw a bounce pass between the legs of Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins and right into the hands of Derrick Williams for an and-1 score.

The 3-time NBA champ might be the best passer in the league. This season, he’s averaging a career-best 8.9 assists per game, fourth in the league. The next non-guard behind him, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, sits at eighth with 7.4 assists per game.
LeBron finished the night with 25 points, 14 assists, eight rebounds and, most important, a 116-108 win.
