LOOK: adidas Unveils New Andrew Wiggins PE Basketball Shoe, Internet Promptly Destroys It
Just a few weeks after Under Armour suffered non-stop mockery for its release of the all-white Curry 2 Low “Chef,” adidas is doing its best to one-up the Baltimore-based brand with a monstrosity of its own.

After Wiggins’ dominant sophomore season, in which he averaged 20.7 points per game, it made sense for adidas to ramp up marketing for the Minnesota Timberwolves star. Much like Nike did with Kyrie Irving by making him the face of the HyperRev, adidas gave Wiggins his own PE version of the kicks before blessing him with his own signature shoe. The only difference is that Wiggins will actually be wearing a snow boot.
The shoe is hailed as the adidas Crazy Explosive, and man, is it something—a high top that more closely resembles a hiking boot than a basketball shoe. It was only a matter of time before Internet denizens began tearing it apart. Let’s take a look at some of the best, or worst, reactions:
