LOOK: Cam Newton Has His Teammates’ Names Written All Over His Cleats
There’s a school of thought by a minority of football fans that Cam Newton is somehow a selfish player. Whether it’s his dancing or the pearly whites he flashes whenever he grabs a first down, Newton ruffles the feathers of certain fans every time he steps on the gridiron. They seem to believe that he sets out to make the game about himself.

Those people are dead wrong, but you knew that already. And if you didn’t, Newton’s symbol of solidarity with his team is another thing the former Auburn quarterback has done to erase the unfair stigma. Newton came out for pre-game warmups before crushing the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game with his teammates’ names written all over a custom pair of Under Armour cleats. It appears that his right cleat had the names of his defensive teammates, and we assume that his left cleat honors his fellow men on offense.

I think we have our answer. Cam led the Panthers to their most dominant team win all season, dismantling the Cardinals 49-15. We can’t wait to see what cleats Superman sports in the Super Bowl.
