LOOK: The Chicago Cubs’ New Locker Room Looks Like a Futuristic Discotheque
After starting the 2016 season with six straight road games, the Chicago Cubs finally returned home Sunday night to prepare for their home opener against the Cincinnati Reds. As if starting the season 5-1 wasn’t sweet enough, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and the rest of the Cubs came home to a brand new, futuristic locker room in the wee hours of Monday morning.

The Cubs’ new digs are a polar opposite from the rest of Wrigley Field. The Cubs’ home ballpark, built in 1914, has retained its old-school feel for over a century (though at least they finally replaced those godawful troughs in the bathrooms).
A huge Cubs bear logo adorns the ceiling of the new circular locker room, while red and blue lights, representing the team’s primary colors, illuminate each player’s locker. Four flat screen TVs hover near the center of the room, and each player’s locker has several levels of storage.
