LOOK: Video Game Steph Curry Will Be as Good as Real-Life Steph Curry for 30 Hours
The video game version of Stephen Curry is getting a boost in honor of his second straight NBA MVP Award.
But it will only last 30 hours, starting at 6 p.m. EST on Thursday.
As part of a partnership between Under Armour and the makers of NBA 2K16, Curry will have a 99 overall rating in the video game, making him the greatest shooter in the history of the game franchise.
On Tuesday, Curry became the only player in NBA history to win the league’s MVP award by a unanimous vote, and the 11th player in history to win the honor two years in a row. This season, he averaged 30.1 points per game on 50.4 percent shooting and 45.4 percent shooting from beyond the 3-point line.
Under Armour created a video of Curry’s season highlights and showed a video game version of the Warriors superstar, a digital player who seems eager to play, at least temporarily, like his real life counterpart.
