Projected as one of the top 10 picks of the upcoming NBA Draft, former Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart is preparing to make one of the most important transitions of his career. Though he would have been eligible for the 2013 draft, Smart chose to return to college for his sophomore year.
In this video, Smart addresses his three-game suspension, which occurred in February following an outburst in response to a fan's taunts during an NCAA Tournament game against Texas A&M. In addition to how he has dealt with his "salad bowl" of emotions, Smart discusses some of his major challenges, family hardships he's had to overcome, and why basketball is such an important outlet for him.
