Mario Chalmers Claims He Isn’t Mad at LeBron For Yelling at Him All Those Times in Miami
As you may know, the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the market for a back-up point guard.
Yesterday, the team held a tryout that featured free agents Lance Stephenson, Kirk Hinrich and Mario Chalmers.
Of those players, Chalmers might make the most sense. He’s a quintessential back-up point guard who can score, distribute and keep turnovers to a minimum. He also has a history with LeBron James, as they won two rings together in Miami.
On the way to Cleveland. Let’s get it.

However, LeBron and “Rio” didn’t always have a smooth relationship. One issue in particular often caught the media’s and fans’ attention: LeBron yelled at Mario. Constantly.

James yelling at Chalmers happened so frequently that it became the norm.
The good news for the Cavaliers is that Chalmers seems to have no problem with the way LeBron treated him in Miami. He explained the relationship in a recent piece for The Player’s Tribune:
Playing with guys like D Wade and Bron, who had both been to the Finals in previous seasons, you didn’t want to be the guy they looked at and said, ‘We lost ’cause of him.’ Those two guys looked at me like a little brother, so all those times you saw them yelling at me, that was brotherly love, man. [But it was also real yelling!]
