Nike Goes ‘Beast Mode’ with Release of Lunar TR1 LE Marshawn Lynch Training Shoe
Train like a beast—and a Super Bowl champion—with Nike’s newly released Lunar TR1 LE Marshawn Lynch training shoe.
The flossy footwear dropped yesterday, featuring a colorway of metallic gold accented by silver, white and black— in honor of Lynch’s famous Grills. In a press release, Nike said, “Marshawn had his first Grill in 1998, and has been rocking one ever since. He even plays and eats with one in as well, and considers himself a Grill Connoisseur.”
The tongue of the new trainer reveals a “Beast Mode” logo, and Lynch’s signature graces the side of the heel. The inside of the tongue displays the words “Grill Connoisseur” and “Iced Out Since since 1998.” The inside sole features Lynch’s number 24 in gold numerals.
Besides looking dope, the shoe features the latest technology from Nike, including Ultra-light Flywire and a Lunarlon midsole for “soft yet responsive cushioning.” Grab the new kicks at store.nike.com. At $120, they cost less than you would pay to buy yourself a Grill.
