As antisocial as NFL running back Marshawn Lynch is with the media, he sure knows how to pick his commercial endorsements.
Lynch announced he has invented the “Beast Mode” Frappaccino, a double mocha stuffed with protein powder and topped off with mint and cream. You know, just the type of drink we’d all imagine a 215-pound bruising running back would order.
The drink is only available in Washington state, where Lynch plays, and in his hometown of Oakland, California. All proceeds benefit his foundation, whose mission is to help underprivileged youth. It’s a shame the drink is not available everywhere, because I would like to order one as soon as possible.
“I’d drink this before a workout,” Lynch said in a press release. “You could get your buff on with this.”
We’ve already touched on the immense benefits of coffee for athletes, and Lynch seems to be on board with the trend. We must admit, though, that it’s a little disappointing that Skittles are absent from his coffee creation.
