Matt Damon, Ben Affleck Join Forces for Syfy Drama
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up again, this time to develop a dramatic series called Incorporated for the Syfy TV Channel.
The Good Will Hunting duo will produce this futuristic espionage thriller through their company, Pearl Street Films. The drama centers on the efforts of one man fighting the system in a futuristic world where corporations have virtually limitless power. The pilot episode, co-produced by CBS Television, will be written by brothers David and Alex Pastor, who previously collaborated on big screen thrillers Out of the Dark and Selfless.
Pearl Street Films has a number of exciting projects in the works, including a reboot of reality show Project Greenlight; but this new program will be the company’s first scripted cable series.
Serving as showrunner and executive producer is Ted Humphrey, best known for writing and producing the popular CBS drama The Good Wife.
