Michigan high school team ends up on FaceTime with Tom Brady after dialing wrong number
One wonders how you text the wrong number when you have contacts already saved in your phone, but it happens.
According to a local news outlet, it all began when Vinny Tartaglia started a group text for the freshmen boys’ basketball team about practices. He messed up “one digit for one of their teammates,” school counselor P. Jason Whalen, whose son is on the basketball team, explained on Twitter.
A wild thing happened this AM that I had to share. My son’s basketball team at @NDPMA_Athletics starts up a group chat. When entering phone numbers they screw up one digit for one of their teammates. This random guy replies to the group “did you mean to add me to this group?”…

Members of the boys’ freshmen basketball team at Notre Dame Prep found themselves on a FaceTime call with Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after one teammate inadvertently entered the wrong number in their group text.
“That was fun,” Brady told ESPN. “That was really fun. It was really good to see all those young kids hyped up.”
Here’s how it went down, according to P. Jason Whalen, whose son Colin is on the freshman basketball team at Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy, which is about 35 minutes from where Murphy-Bunting grew up in Macomb, Michigan.
Apparently at that point SMB hands his phone to @_fournette who proceeds to walk around the locker room and introduce the boys to @MikeEvans13_ , @RobGronkowski, @RSherman_25, etc… pic.twitter.com/nd9aR2RgrT

Fournette stays on FaceTime for a good 10 minutes while @TomBrady finishes up a meeting. The boys are absolutely losing it during this. After some time passes he pops up on the screen and says “What’s up fellas?!?!” The boys lose their minds… pic.twitter.com/JBwTtsKrRg

Don’t fret. “They added him (missing teammate) in once they figured it out,” Whalen confirmed.
Now don’t go texting random numbers hoping to Tom Brady.
