GTA Online Cash Dispensed; New DLC Announced
The Stimulus Package has finally arrived for GTA Online. The peace offering, which Rockstar gave away to players who logged on to the multi-player mode in October, dumped $500,000 in player’s accounts. If you played the game during October and didn’t notice a recent boost in your bank account, contact the developer through their request form.
In related news, Rockstar has announced the first DLC for GTA Online. The Beach Bum pack, which is expected to be released this month, will give gamers access to new vehicles, weaponry and new ways to customize your online character’s appearance.
Diablo III for PC Won’t Have an Offline Mode
An offline mode isn’t coming to the PC version of Diablo III. Director Josh Mosqueira revealed the news during a panel at BlizzCon 2013. You can play offline with the console versions.
“So here’s the thing. When we decided to design Diablo III, we feel that Diablo plays best when you’re playing with your friends, when you have access to this awesome community that is Blizzard,” said Mosqueira.
In other news, the developer recently released another trailer for the forthcoming expansion, Reaper of Souls, which will hit shelves next year. The clip shows off the Adventure mode and gives gamers a look at the Nephalem Rifts—a place where they will face off against random monsters from various acts within the franchise.

Microsoft is gifting the complete Killer Instinct game to select Xbox Live users for free. Some players started receiving emails last week thanking them for their “dedication to Xbox” and promising further instructions for redeeming the gift as forthcoming. The users were picked based on their Gamerscores and the amount of time they’ve had an Xbox Live account.
The title, which will be released Nov. 22 with the Xbox One, will be free-to-play, but gamers will be given only one unlocked character. The others can be unlocked individually for $5 each or in a bundle for $20. The version of the game given to the dedicated users includes all characters.
In other news, Microsoft Studios recently revealed the game’s Arcade mode won’t be released until after all eight characters are in play. Six will be available at launch and two others will be released later.
