The hardwood pre-season is officially underway, so it's time for ballers across the U.S.A. to test their skills on the virtual court with Sony's latest game, NBA 10: The Insider.
NBA 10:The Insider [Sony]
Release Date: October 6
Exclusively for PSP and PSP Go
NBA 10: The Insider is rated the number one NBA simulator on the PSP three years in a row, and the crew at Sony is looking for a fourpete. Gameplay is more intense and realistic than last year, and The Insider is filled with new Quest modes, Mini-Games and expanded play-by-play color commentary. This game is perfect for ballers who can't get enough gaming and need to play on the go.
STACK's Favorite Features:
Dodge Quest: Take an old school recess game and add some NBA superstars. The result? A game that will have you playing for hours. Suit up as your favorite NBA team for a dodgeball tournament, and find out which baller is king of the court.
Realistic Animation: The Insider is all about having nice, smooth, ultra-realistic gameplay interaction. From player movements to the style of the court/arena, the game feels like an authentic TNT telecast in the palms of your hands.
Wireless Multi-player Gameplay: Go head-to-head against other gamers around the country or in the locker room using Ad Hoc connectivity with up to two PSP systems. Or, you can link to a local wireless network for multi-player action nationwide.
STACK's Take: The game itself hasn't changed, but for all the hardcore ballers and gamers out there, you'll definitely notice the difference compared to other games. The animations aren't PS3 HD view, but they're good enough for the grab-and-go PSP. You'll get an all-around feel of a real NBA game, and it's nice for a long bus ride to a game or a break during study hall.
