Hitting the weights this summer to prep for your first fall of college ball? If you plan on receiving instruction from a college strength coach, note these NCAA conditions.
Can I work out with a college strength and conditioning coach?
Yes, but only for Divisions I and II football and basketball programs under these circumstances: you’ve signed the National Letter of Intent or the school’s written offer of admission; or you’ve enrolled in the university’s summer term prior to full-time enrollment. Workouts must be voluntary, meaning you are not required to report back to members of the athletic department.
