Dante Fowler got a rude welcome during his first game as a Los Angeles Ram.
While he was attempting to rush Drew Brees, Fowler got undercut with a vicious block from New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram.
Ingram hit with so much force that he sent the 6-foot-3, 267-pound behemoth completely head over heels.
"He came up high the first time and we had a good lick," Fowler told Rams.com after the game. "The second time he came at me again, and you know I'm that kind of guy where I'm coming full-throttle and he just got a good lick on me, flipped me, I got right back up — treated the ground like a hot stove."
Props to Ingram for the devastating block, and credit to Fowler for popping up so quickly—I'm sure most of us would just lie on the ground in agony until someone came to peel us off the turf.
