Nike and Foot Locker Release “Fresh Air” Campaign
Nike is good at creative campaigns. Their latest “Fresh Air” campaign features four new Nike Air designs for Foot Locker. Pro superstars Amar’e Stoudemire, DeSean Jackson and Chris Bosh highlight Nike’s music video promo [shown below], featuring the music of Cool Kids. Former MLB slugger Ken Griffey, Jr. makes a cameo appearance, delivering Nike’s latest to the all-stars of today.
Nike Air Max 24/7
Footlocker.com says, “The Nike Air Max 24/7 is a running-inspired shoe that combines elements from the Air Max 95, 97 and 360 to create the next generation of classically cool kicks.” The design features a Vis-Air unit in the heel and forefoot and a Waffle pattern for traction.
Nike Air Max 95
This concept harkens back to 1995, when the goal was to create a sneaker that mimicked the human body—the midsole representing the spine, panels representing muscles, loopholes and straps representing the ribs, and the mesh representing the skin. Retro fans can pick up this classic kick in some of the original colors or in new color combos.
Nike Air Griffey Max II
Originally released in 1996, the Nike Air Griffey Max II has a retro style that pays tribute to the great look of the original. Synthetic leather upper, Max Air cushioning and a rubber lug sole complete the package from one of baseball’s all-time greats.
Nike Air Max Jr.
This design takes its general shape and look from the Griffey Max I, but is “updated with a textile Torch upper for premium breathability.” A 360 Max Air unit provides cushioning and a rubber sole for this casual shoe.
