Nike Is Giving LeBron James and Kyrie Irving Serious Sneaker Heat to Match the Cavs’ Throwback Uniforms This Weekend
We’ve reached that glorious point in the NBA’s calendar when teams are starting to bring out their throwback uniforms to mix things up a bit. The Toronto Raptors went so far as to change their home court floor to match their blue and white Toronto Huskies throwbacks. This weekend, it’s the Cleveland Cavaliers’ turn to wind back the clock, and Nike is taking full advantage with new footwear for Cleveland’s two biggest stars.
We’re so stoked for these fresh unis.

Both Kyrie Irving and LeBron James will be rocking PE editions of the Nike Kyrie 2 and Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 10, respectively, The shoes will match the mid-1980s-inspired orange uniforms the Cavs will wear on both Friday night against the Miami Heat and Saturday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Kyrie 2 gets an orange upper with a blue strap, and the blue coloring can be found again just above the outsole. The shoe is cleanly finished off with a white bottom.
The Zoom LeBron Soldier 10 flips the color scheme with a predominantly blue upper offset by orange around the ankle and in the Swoosh. The midsole features white speckling over dark blue, and the shoe is also finished with a clean white outsole.
There’s no word on whether either shoe will release to the public, but man, we can certainly dream.
