Nike LeBron 9 Cannon Colorway
It may be hard to one-up the Nike LeBron 8, but King James’ ninth signature shoe definitely has the goods to do so. It’s the first Nike shoe that combines Flywire 3.0 and Hyperfuse technology.
Designed with LeBron’s quickness and power in mind, the shoe comes with Max Air 180 cushioning in the heel and Nike Zoom in the forefoot. A midfoot harness and textile wings provide the stability, durability and flexibility needed to support LeBron’s explosive style of play. Hyperfuse construction makes the LeBron 9 a powerful shoe, one that sheds considerable weight without sacrificing support and stability.
“From the very beginning of the design process for the LeBron 9, we wanted to break the mold with a shoe that maximized the strengths of a triple threat player like LeBron,” says Jason Petrie, the shoe’s lead designer. “LeBron brings a rare combination of speed, agility and force to the game, and my goal is to outfit him in a shoe that lets him do what he does best while maximizing our superior innovations.”
The Cannon colorway consists of military green and slate, accented with an orange sole. As a sign of appreciation for LeBron’s Miami fans, the LeBron 9 Cannon will get a special release tonight, Oct. 10, in South Florida before hitting retails stores across the country in November.
