Don’t let your outside training take a rain check. Soon you can suit up and get moving in Nike’s new Phantom Vapor Jacket, a lightweight, breathable outer garment that will keep you warm, dry and safe. Learn more about its innovative design and features below.
The jacket is coated with Durable Water Resistant (DWR), a water-repellent treatment that keeps you dry in wet conditions. (Watch for a future STACK TV water demo/test video.)
Laser-Cut Thumb Holes
The jacket includes thumb holes, allowing you to leave your gloves behind. The sleeve hems feature fold-over elastic to help keep cold air out.
Internal Back Pocket
Small items, like keys, can be securely stowed in the jacket’s inside back pocket.
The shoulders, back and hood incorporate reflective elements to keep you safely visible in low-light conditions.
The bottom hemline is designed with slightly-gathered internal elastic to make sure the jacket doesn’t ride up on your body during motion.
The Nike Phantom Vapor Jacket, available in black, will drop in January 2011. Be on the lookout for a future in-depth interview with Nike’s senior product director David Brown.
