With the start of the 2015-2016 NBA season still a few weeks away, Washington Wizards' third-year forward Otto Porter is treating the pre-season like his personal playground.
Taking on Bauru, a team based in Brazil, at the Verizon Center on Sunday, Porter dribbled to his left at the 3-point line, then dribbled behind his back to the right to lose his defender as he closed in on the paint.
Porter's trickery had only begun. He began to lose the ball, but managed to keep control by bouncing it between the legs of another defender, nutmegging the hapless opponent sliding into the paint to cut him off—to no avail. Porter snuck past the defender, hit the layup, and got fouled for the And-1.
The season hasn't started yet, but this is already a contender for play of the year.
