The upcoming mystery film Paper Towns, based on the bestselling novel by John Green, follows teenager Quentin and his four friends on a quest to locate the missing girl next door. This mission to find the adventurous and enigmatic Margo Roth Spiegelman turns into the road trip of a lifetime.
Before she disappeared, Margo let it be known that she was plotting revenge on those who had hurt her. Even if Quentin uses the clues Margo left for him, there's no guarantee he'll unravel the mystery.
The role of Quentin is played by Nat Wolff, who recently starred in the hit film adaptation of another John Green novel, The Fault in Our Stars. Actress and model Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina) portrays Margo. The cast also includes Halston Sage (Neighbors), Austin Abrams (Kings of Summer), Caitlin Carver (The Fosters) and Cara Buono (Person of Interest).
The film was directed by Jake Schreier, best known for directing the 2012 crime dramedy Robot & Frank.
The screenplay was written by the same writers who adapted The Fault in Our Stars, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
Paper Towns will pop up in theaters nationwide on June 5, 2015.
