Raiders QB Derek Carr Can’t Resist Doing Arm Exercises on Leg Day
The Oakland Raiders’ season did not end on a positive note. After looking like favorites to win the AFC West, they lost their last game of the regular season and the Wild Card playoff game the following week. A big reason for the Raiders’ downfall was that star quarterback Derek Carr broke his leg in Week 15 and was out for the year.
But Carr is already back in the gym working on coming back better than ever.

Eric Mahanke, strength and conditioning coach for Carr Elite (an elite training facility in Central Valley, California), posted a video on Twitter of Carr’s recent leg workout. At least it was supposed to be a leg workout. Every time Mahanke turned his back on the 25-year-old quarterback, Carr sneaked in an arm exercise. It seems that Carr only wants to increase his arm strength to throw bombs down the field next season. Can you blame the two-time Pro Bowler?

I’s good to see Carr walking around, working out and having fun in the gym. Carr led the Raiders to a 12-3 record when he was the starter. He threw for 3,937 yards, 28 touchdowns and a career-low six interceptions.
