No one was expecting a huge brawl during Sunday's matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers. But as soon as Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor punched Blue Jays outfielder José Bautista, both dugouts emptied.
It's always nice when teammates have one another's back. Bautista definitely needed support from his team after getting clocked, but now he also has support from the other team up north—the Toronto Raptors.
After the Raptors beat the Miami Heat in Game 7 Sunday, TSN's Cabral "Cabbie" Richards caught up with Raps forward DeMarre Carroll, to see what kind of help he could offer to Bautista. Carroll said that if Bautista needs his assistance, the "Junkyard Dog" would be there; just call him.
Anyone else looking to take shots at Bautista had better watch out, because the Blue Jays just added another fighter to their team. Watch the video below:
