Reebok Releases Three New Colorways of Dominique Wilkins' Signature Sneaker
Dozens of re-released retro sneakers are flooding stores this holiday season, but few pay homage to a star as athletic and dominant as “The Human Highlight Reel,” Dominque Wilkins.
Reebok is getting in on the limited-edition action by re-releasing the “Pump Twilight Zone,” the signature shoe of former Atlanta Hawks superstar Dominique Wilkins, this Christmas Eve. The sneakers will go on sale Dec. 24 in three new colorways. The brand released a neon yellow colorway over the summer, but the three new colorways have more meaning to one of the greatest leapers to ever play in the NBA.
If you’re a University of Georgia fan, you might favor the black/white/red colorway, honoring ‘Nique’s time with the Dawgs. Or, choose between the grey/red/silver colorway he sported during his triumph in the Slam Dunk Contest and the more traditional white/red/grey that he wore for Hawks games.
So what do you think? Are these worth picking up? Take a look at the images below, and then let us know what you think on Facebook or Twitter.
