Members of the Saratoga Springs [N.Y.] High School girls’ track and field team know they’re a powerhouse. Co-coaches Art and Linda Kranick have seen many of their athletes standing proudly on the podium at previous Penn Relays, and they expect to live up to their reputation again this season. Senior Amanda Borroughs thinks their success is based on team chemistry. She says, “We’re a family. We’re all best friends.” Without question, the friendly Blue Streaks will be ready to bring it at the 2011 Penn Relays.
