Robert Griffin III Shows Off Custom adidas Socks on Draft Night
The Washington Redskins traded up in the 2012 NFL Draft to select Baylor University quarterback Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick. The Skins are getting a dynamic playmaker who won the Heisman Trophy last year.
They’re also getting a guy with a whimsical sense of style.
It started in high school. At Baylor, Griffin developed a reputation for wearing socks that reflect his personality and sense of humor. He even wore a pair of Superman socks to the Heisman ceremony.
RGIII Custom adidas Socks
On Draft night, Griffin sported specialty socks from adidas in Washington’s colors to commemorate the occasion. Featuring the phrase, “GO CATCH YOUR DREAM,” the socks have left and right footbeds to keep RGIII’s feet comfortable and ClimaLite moisture-wicking technology to keep them dry.
But it’s all about the look. What do you think of RGIII’s custom adidas Draft night socks? Let us know on Twitter or Facebook.
