Social media can be overwhelming. With the influx of information, it can sometimes be difficult to filter out what you see vs. what you’d actually like to see. A free mobile application called Rouse Social does that for you, gathering together the social media accounts from thousands of athletes.
Rouse also draws from the profiles of music artists and other celebrities. You can even purchase music directly from the app.
One simple feed shows you updates from only those you’ve chosen to follow, aggregating posts from Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, SoundCloud and others, so you only have to look in one place. Search for one athlete in particular and you can see his or her updates from multiple networks all in the Rouse feed.
Rouse recently launched “brand pages,” so you don’t miss the latest updates and offers from Nike, Under Armour or Beats by Dre.
Also underway is a feature for fantasy sports lovers that will aggregate useful content to help you assess an athlete’s performance level to make smarter drafting decisions.
