At 7’2″, Roy Hibbert is one of the “biggest” big men in the NBA. That tall frame could have been a lanky liability, but Hibbert made it a muscle-packed asset by putting in serious hours in the weight room.
The results are impressive; unable to perform a Push-Up in high school, Hibbert now deadlifts 540 pounds—multiple times!—in the above video.
Hibbert made this big lift during an off-season workout, which STACK filmed while spending a full day with the Pacers center. From the moment he got up and had breakfast until the wee hours of the night, when his day of carefully planned meals and multiple workout sessions was complete, we captured everything. And you can see it all in this video (WATCH: A Day in the Life of Roy Hibbert).
If you know exactly what it takes to become an NBA All-Star, check out the training plan that makes Hibbert one of the league’s best and most fit big men. You can buy his full 8-week workout plan from Go Pro Workouts.
The plan includes videos of Hibbert performing every exercise, daily workout schedules and workout trackers to keep tabs on your progress. Go Pro has other basketball workouts for sale, and we recommend you check them out to see which one best meets your needs.
To get a sense of what Roy does in the gym, check out his full workout session in this exclusive video produced by STACK this past off-season.
