A few short years ago, Ryan Tannehill was a wide receiver for Texas A&M. But after switching to QB and running a pro-style offense for the Aggies, the 6’4″, 220-pound Tannehill shot up NFL Draft boards. Some scouts predicted he’ll be a top-10 overall pick. He’s become the “it” prospect of this year’s Draft. And now, Tannehill has signed with adidas.
Tannehill joins his NFL Draft classmate Robert Griffin III as adidas-sponsored athletes. Tannehill wore the adiZero 5-Star cleat at his A&M Pro Day, and adidas manufactures A&M’s football jerseys. “I’m excited to join the adidas family,” he said in a brand press release. “I wore the three stripes in college, and adidas is the perfect fit for me as I head to the next level.”
