Samsung Galaxy S4 Arrives February 2013
This week, Samsung refused to sit idly by while Apple’s iPhone 5 conquered the hearts, minds and wallets of the smartphone-addicted public. On Sept. 17, in an attempt to steal the show (or maybe just an Act) from Apple, Samsung announced the future release of its fourth version of the Galaxy S.
Although the Galaxy S4 won’t be released until February, Samsung wanted to give techy individuals information on the new device so they can compare it to the iPhone 5. (Can’t wait until February? Samsung Galaxy Note II Hits Shelves in October.) The company wanted to inform people that options are available for those who are not interested in drinking the iPhone Kool-Aid.
According to The Korea Times, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 will have a five-inch screen, one inch larger than the iPhone 5. Samsung representatives went so far as to say that S4 hardware would be faster and more powerful than the iPhone 5’s.
With the launch five months away, Samsung has more than enough time to explore their new Galaxy—and to discover flaws in the iPhone 5 to sell against when attempting to convert the still undecided. Although information on the S4 is limited, when February rolls around, Samsung is sure to deliver a powerful alternative to the iPhone 5.
