Thanks to his big-play ability and prominent role in the Giants offense, opposing defenses will rarely lose track of Saquon.

But if you mix in just the right amount of deception, the results can be spectacular.

This trick play against the Carolina Panthers saw Odell Beckham Jr. sling a 57-yard touchdown pass to Barkley off a fake screen pass.

Barkley's supreme acceleration is on display here, as many players would've been caught from behind after being forced to slow down to nearly a complete stop to wait on the high-arcing pass.

Barkley is also extremely adept at deploying a small hurdle move to avoid defenders bent on knocking his feet out from under him, as he does here to Carolina linebacker Jermaine Carter.

Despite this long touchdown reception, Barkley still has 56 more yards after catch than he does total receiving yards at the time of this writing.

That illustrates just how many of the rookie's receptions have come behind the line of scrimmage.
