Seconds After Hitting a Game-Winning Shot, Victor Oladipo Banged Out Push-Ups During His Post-Game Interview
The revamped Victor Oladipo is proving to be an elite player.
The 25-year-old Indiana Pacers shooting guard is currently averaging 23.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. Those would all represent new career-highs for the former Indiana Hoosier. He’s also on track for new highs in field goal percentage (48.3%) and 3-point percentage (43.7%).
Oladipo’s improvement can be directly traced to the fact that he got in the best shape of his life this offseason, dropping 20 pounds and greatly improving his endurance. Oladipo is in such beastly shape that he even banged out a set of Push-Ups following his clutch performance during the Pacers’ recent victory over the Chicago Bulls:

Oladipo says the Push-Ups were due to a missed free throw, but maybe he just wanted his biceps to pop on camera. Either way, the man they call “Dipo” is proving to be an incredible addition for the upstart Pacers. His improved cardiovascular endurance is helping him zoom around the court, as his average speed of 4.61 mph ranks fourth among qualified NBA players who average 25-plus minutes a night.
