Christmas came a few days early for STACK. When we arrived at the office this morning, waiting for us was a big box from Jordan Brand with clear instructions to avoid all scissors when opening it up.
So, as delicately as possible, we opened the package and found a well-crafted wooden black box with the signature Jordan Jumpman logo. We expected a ray of light to shoot out of it, just like in the movies. It didn’t happen, but the contents of the box were enough to make us feel like it did.
Opening the lid, we were greeted with another Jumpman logo, informing us that we were one of the lucky 23 to receive this limited edition holiday pack. The first item presented in the box was the “Concord” Jordan Classic Cut hoodie. Under it was the next treasure, the Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” complete with a soft shoe shining cloth. The original 1995 Air Jordan 11 just happens to be one of our all-time favorites, and we’ve been anxiously awaiting this year’s release, which hits retails stores this Friday, Dec. 23, for $180. For the serious baller, this is a great performance sneaker. But, you may want to pick up two and let one marinate on your shelf for the next few years. We guarantee they’ll be worth well over what you pay for them.
