Team adidas Continues Dominance Over Team Under Armour, Wins 120-101
Team adidas improved to 3-1 in head-to-head matchups against Team Under Armour, on the heels of yet another fine performance from rookie phenom Robert Griffin III (38 points). Tight end Jimmy Graham was the lone adidas player in single-digits. Under Armour managed to score 100 points despite zero-point production from WR Miles Austin and TE Vernon Davis. Austin replaced Julio Jones, who was listed as questionable throughout the week, and wound up suffering an injury early in the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game. Jones, on the other hand, was active and scored 26 fantasy points. He’ll be back in the starting lineup for Week 13.
Team Nike (Finally) Beats Team Reebok, 124-106.5
Nike replaced Reebok this season as the official uniform provider of the NFL, but it took four head-to-head matchups before Team Reebok finally surrendered its first loss to Team Nike in the Battle of the Brands. Calvin Johnson led all Nike scorers with 28 points and RB Ray Rice followed up with 24 points. With the win, Nike moves into second place in the league.
Three Stars of the Week (Thanksgiving Day Games Edition)
3. Tom Brady, Team Under Armour
Despite a losing effort for Under Armour, it’s hard to overlook Brady’s Thanksgiving Day performance: 323 yards and three TDs for 37 fantasy points.
2. Calvin Johnson, Team Nike
Johnson has scored at least 20 fantasy points in three consecutive weeks.
1. Robert Griffin III, Team adidas
RGIII gobbled up the Cowboys secondary on Thanksgiving Day, throwing for 311 yards and four TDs.
Week 13 Matchups
