Some very exciting baseball was played over the weekend as the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees took one game each in the American League Championship Series. The series resumes tonight, October 18, at 8:00 p.m. EDT, at Yankee Stadium, with left-hander Andy Pettite, whom some are calling the greatest post-season pitcher of all-time, going up against the Rangers’ lefty ace Cliff Lee—no slouch either when it comes to performance, having never lost an MLB playoff game (currently 6-0).
But if we’re talkin’ greatest post-season player of all-time, Yankee SS Derek Jeter is arguably at the top of the list. During the off-season, STACK caught up with Jeter (and his trainer Jason Riley) to talk about his longevity in the game, off-season training, nutrition and taking no shortcuts to reach success. Videos above.
