In one of the most anticipated gaming debuts of the year, the PlayStation Vita hits stores today, Feb. 22. If you're still on the fence about buying one before your next out-of-town tournament, you might want to check Amazon for their introductory offer. It could set you up with a nice little library of Vita games at a great price.

Now through Feb. 25, Amazon is offering a "buy two, get one free" deal on PS Vita games. Included are new entries in popular franchises like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, ModNation Racers: Road Trip and Rayman Origins. Combine these games with upcoming titles in the Call of Duty, Resistance and Assassin's Creed series, and you'll have a strong rationale for investing in a Vita. If you don't like Amazon's games, you can evaluate similar deals at brick and mortar stores like Gamestop and Target, which offer slightly different selections.

If you've checked out our preview of the new handheld device, you already know how excited we are about its capabilities. From its innovative OLED touch screen to remote PS3 gaming, the Vita is designed to connect you with unlimited entertainment possibilities wherever you are. You'll have to decide for yourself whether the Vita meets your needs better than the Nintendo 3DS, but we think it's great for athletes who are as interested in movies and music as they are in gaming—as well as those who already own a PlayStation 3.
