State of Decay Coming to the PC; Upcoming Sandbox Mode Teased

Undead Labs recently announced plans to bring State of Decay to the PC via Steam's Early Access program. The game will initially come in a controller-only format, but the final version will include mouse and keyboard support. We don't have a definitive release date yet, but Undead Labs revealed via Twitter that the title should be available before the end of the year.

In other news, a forthcoming DLC for the game will give gamers a Sandbox mode that allows them to find out how long they'd survive in a zombie apocalypse. "The goal of Sandbox is to provide an unbounded experience, one with no victory condition that ends the game," said developer Jeff Strain.

In Sandbox mode, gamers will always have to be on the lookout for resources, since they won't automatically replenish. Gamers will have to create communities, conquer new areas and make hard decisions about who survives when it's time to move on.

Final Dishonored DLC Pack Coming in August

Bethesda has unveiled the final DLC for Dishonored. "The Brigmore Witches," to be released on Aug. 13, is a continuation of the last DLC, "The Knife of Dunwall."

With the downloadable content, players will once again assume the identity of assassin Daud. The story picks up as Daud attempts to thwart the plans of Delilah, leader of the Brigmore Witch coven. He is forced to work with two rival gangs, the Dead Eels and the Hatters, in an attempt to navigate his way through Dunwall and locate Delilah's lair. Before it's over, Daud will have to face his own mortality in a final battle with assassin Corvo Attano.

"The Brigmore Witches" will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers for $9.99.

Diablo III PS3 Trailer Released; PS4 Version Coming in 2014

Two teaser trailers amping gamers for the console version of Diablo III arrived last week. Both employed the shaky cam gimmick used for horror films like Paranormal Activity. Diablo III will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 4. Fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to see it on the PS4. The developer is reportedly interested in adapting the game to take full advantage of all that the next-generation console has to offer, instead of just creating a port. Check out the trailers below.
