This Saturday, people age 16 and older who are vaccinated and/or COVID-19 tested will get an opportunity to drive their car around Talladega Superspeedway.
The Alabama Department of Public Health made the announcement this week in hopes to increase vaccinations statewide. Drivers will be allowed to drive the track twice following a pace car.
Talladega is a 2.66-mile track and one of the premier racing locations in the U.S.
Vaccines will be available on-site between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
