For a few agonizing minutes, Green Bay Packers fans had to grapple with the idea of another Aaron Rodgers-less season for their team.
The star quarterback suffered a knee injury during the first half of Green Bay's Week 1 battle against the Chicago Bears.
When he was carted off the field, Green Bay fans feared the worst.
But Rodgers would run out of the tunnel to take the field after halftime, albeit facing a 20-0 deficit.
What followed was a vintage performance from arguably the greatest passer in NFL history. On a gimpy left leg, Rodgers racked up 273 passing yards and three touchdowns in the second half to lead the Pack to a 24-23 victory.
