While technological limitations once prevented us from knowing the distance of many home runs, Statcast now allows us to gather a plethora of data for every dinger.

While this data only extends back to the start of the 2015 season, modern sluggers have already treated us to some tremendous taters during that span.

In fact, 2017 saw the most home runs in a season in league history.

Baseball is currently filled with premier power hitters capable of launching a record-breaking blast in any given at-bat.
