The Spurs Held a Hilarious Private Ceremony to Retire Matt Bonner’s ‘Jersey’
Former San Antonio Spur Matt Bonner recently retired by posting a hilarious video on Twitter. Known for his red hair and his spot-up shooting from long range, the Red Mamba is a Spurs legend in his own way.

As is common when a legend retires, Bonner’s “jersey” was retired. After the Spurs’ game on Thursday night, the team held a “very cozy and private ceremony” to retire one of Bonner’s infamous flannel shirts.

The two-time NBA champion averaged 5.8 points and three rebounds a game for his career.
