STACK Challenge: The Thursday Grind
Every week, a new STACK Challenge gives you an opportunity to test your athletic ability and win a STACK T-shirt. Take the challenge and enter to win by tweeting your results with #STACKChallenge.
Trainer Kurt Hester’s “Thursday Grind” workout strings together some of your least favorite bodyweight exercises for a grueling challenge that you can perform anywhere.
Before you start, decide whether you’re going to do 15, 20 or 25 reps of each exercise. Perform a dynamic warm-up, then complete the following circuit:
- Burpees
- V-Ups
- Push-Ups
- Squat
- Mountain Climber
- Lunge
For the Mountain Climber and Lunge, split the reps between your two legs (for example, if you’re doing 20 reps, complete 10 per leg). Repeat four times, resting two minutes between sets.
The Challenge
Complete 4 sets of the Thursday Grind workout.
How Do You STACK Up?
Rookie: 15 reps
Pro: 20 reps
All-Star: 25 reps
Ultimate Challenge: Once you can complete this workout at All-Star level, do six sets of 25 reps each.
