Tom Brady Posts Selfie with Rival Peyton Manning: ‘We Were Friends’
Six-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady posted a selfie with rival two-time Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning on Twitter, where fans of the two battled it out.
The two football legends went to war against each other many times over their careers in the NFL, often in the AFC Championship. They played each other roughly 17 times over their careers with Brady holding the edge with a record of 11-6 over Manning.
Spoiler alert… we were friends this whole time. Always great to see you Peyton! pic.twitter.com/DzscouMxsl

The now infamous selfie shows Brady and Manning wearing stylish suits and shades with the caption: “Spoiler alert… we were friends this whole time. Always good to see you Peyton!”
What was meant to be a fun picture celebrating the friendship of two all-time greats, turned into a internet brawl over who was the better player. Fans brought up and compared statistics and Super Bowl wins.
Not everyone was there to comment on who was the “GOAT.” Some people chose to critique each quarterback’s outfits and even their hairlines.
You can compare the two if you want, but we think it’s great to see these on-field rivals hanging out off the field.
