Thursday night in Kansas City, Tom Willis threw out the first pitch for the Royals . . . with his foot.
A motivational speaker, Willis was born without arms. Now 54, he has thrown the first pitch at 22 different baseball stadiums, including Dodger Stadium and Fenway Park, all to advance awareness of and support for his Pitch for Awareness Campaign. His organization, Tomsfeet Production, boasts the motto “No hands. No arms. No Problem.”
