Under Armour Amps Up Their Shoe Game With New “Footsteps” Campaign
Although Under Armour’s classic “Protect this house. I will.” campaign will always evoke the Baltimore-based brand, UA’s latest campaign, “Footsteps,” promoting their new line of shoes, could make an even bigger splash.
In a promo clip featuring MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre, Patriots QB Tom Brady, Panthers newbie Cam Newton, track star Monica Hargrove and volleyball pro Kim Glass, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis asks, “Do you hear footsteps? Or are they hearing yours?”
The idea is simple: as a competitive athlete, “you want to be the hunter rather than the hunted,” says Scott Duchon, creative director of twofifteenMcCann, the agency Under Armour worked with on the campaign.
